CRM Software is the largest global software market, with expected revenues to grow to $80 billion in revenue by 2025. Key drivers of growth include accessibility and increased reliability and performance.
Companies want readily available access to customer data in real-time. Cloud mobile facilitates this. In 2018, mobile use grew. This was helped due to CRM adoption of the cloud, enabling remote and reliable access. This was unheard of 10 years ago, as the majority of CRMs were on-premise and used desktop only user interfaces.
In a recent study, 65% of sales reps using mobile CRM software reached their sales quota, versus only 22% of sales reps who used desktop only CRM.
Cloud technology which supports mobile connectivity, has grown enormously since 2008, with only 12% of CRM software build on Cloud infrastructure, compared with 87% in 2018.
Although this figure is still lower than that from a laptop or desktop, this rising use from mobiles and tablets means that 81% of users are now accessing their CRM software from multiple devices.
Business will continue to invest in CRM, fuelled by the necessity to have greater access to customer data and keep up with the competition. This investment continues to deliver results with an excellent return on investment.
Now should be the time to consider a mobile CRM solution to give your employees readily available access to customer data, enabling them to organise appointments, respond to support cases and communicate products outside the office.
If you're in the market for a mobile capable CRM, we suggest looking at Dynamics 365 in the Cloud.
