Using the normal functionality of Sage CRM, target the audience you wish to send the campaign to, and save as a target list.

Using the Marketing and Wave activity functions of Sage CRM, create a campaign with the new type of “Communicator”. Select the target audience and press ‘Ok’. The campaign is now created. A new menu item “Communicator is available” appears; select it and move into the design phase.

The email to the target is created either in our HTML editor or by copying from another favoured package (Front Page etc). Personalised data (first name) is added from a pick list and then dynamically populated from the Sage CRM contact record. Other traceable events, such as Landing Zone links or click through rates ,are also added.

Either as a component of the campaign message, or as a call to action post delivery of a product and service, the Survey is a key tool in the marketing armoury. The communicator capability is quick and easy to use, incorporating templates for speed and consistency. Questions and answers are again written back to the Sage CRM contact record for interrogation and analysis, as well as becoming a key criteria for the selection of the next campaign audience.

Once a campaign is launched the results begin to flow through instantly. The summary window allows the campaign to be analysed at any point for its success factors. By measuring the actual and distinct activity you can measure the true influence of your campaign.

As well as summary info, we can drill down to the effectiveness of each traceable event in a campaign to work out what works and what does not to different audience types. Again the specific detail is recorded straight into the contact record of Sage CRM.
